Table View in SQL Editor

Table View in SQL Editor - Werysoft.com

Having quick and easy access to the names of the columns in your tables is key to increasing productivity. QweryBuilder provides an intellisense feature that takes care of part of this problem. Another feature that really helps is the Display Table feature found in the SQL Editor window. It gives you a list of columns for your table(s) and lets you keep them in view for as long as you want.

To access this feature, go to an SQL Query window. Highlight the name of a table in the editor. After doing this, you can right click in the editor and select the Actions\Display Table menu or you can hit the F2 key on your keyboard.

Once the table is displayed, you can move it to the side for reference. You can also select columns from the table and click the add button to insert them into the SQL editor. If multiple columns are selected, it will be inserted as a comma delimited list. This makes it fast and easy to create SQL statements that require many columns to be retrieved.
